Great War Historical Society - West Coast WWI Reenacting
« on: February 29, 2008, 07:13:45 PM »
Things have been improving out here in Kalifornia and we were able to secure a battle site, at least for now. The Great War Historical Society (GWHS) is beginning to come alive again and so are out efforts to promote WWI out here on the West Coast.

We've established an organization website at:

http://www.gwhsww1.org/index.html

It's a bit crude right now, under construction and all that but it will get better with time. Also, there are links to teh various units (this is a bit in flux right now) but it should give you a start.

Finally, I'm the GWHS vice president so if you have questions, feel free to ask!  :D

Just an update here....

Due to unforseen circumstances, we've had to move our battle site but not to worry, we're located a larger, better site a few miles down the road from the old site.

We're in the process of laying out and installing new trenchworks and we will be having our usual Spring and Fall events. The next event is on the weekend of March 30-April 1, 2012.  :)
