Next event is MTT, or Marching Thru Time in Glendale Maryland, April 20-21. Multi period military timeline event, I'll be the big fellow with the tall feather bonnet and red coat. Best to all !

Cheers, Johnnie, 93rd Highlanders 1854-56.

Oh, bye the bye- following MTT on 4-20-13, the 2013 Southern Maryland Highland Games will host a small contingent of the Crimean War 1854 period 93rd Sutherland Highlanders in their historical area on 4-27-13. Come down to the Highland Games event, see www.cssm.org, at beautiful Jefferson - Patterson Park in Calvert Co southern Maryland area, see www.jef-pat.org.

I'll be the big red headed guy in red coat and feather bonnet.

Cheers, Johnnie, 93rd Sutherland Highlanders 1854-56.

Greetings ! The Southern Maryland Highland Games was a big success ! It's a pity this was only a one day event. Mauled by crowds of curious folks at the event I wished I had a nickle for each pic asked of me. I was only too glad to oblige as I am colorfully photogenic in red coat, feather bonnet and all... Looking forward to posting future developements in portraying the Crimean War period soon.

Cheerio ! John Hoffman, 93rd Highlanders 1854-56 Crimean War period.
