Gewehr 98s
« on: December 10, 2007, 11:23:09 AM »
Guys;  How hard is it these days, to find a decent Gewehr 98? It seems that there are plenty of K98s to be found, but I haven't seen too much of the Gewehrs any where. --And what kind of price are they averaging?  Pristine condition would be great, but not a realistic expectation.... just something functional and not too banged up.  --This is just something I need to keep on my radar screen, to see how many lunches I need to skip while I get a kit started up....
Howdy there!  I'm Oedipus Tex! --You may have heard of my brother Rex....

Unfortunately, they're not as abundant as they used to be. The best thing to do is monitor the auctions on Gunbroker and Auction Arms- they do show up from time to time but you have to be patient. That's pretty much what I had to do.
