Greetings!
I am stuck geographically in an area with no reenacting of WW2, and barely any for things like Civil War (which would be highly appropriate for where I live). I am in upper Middle Tennessee. Have not reenacted since I left Colorado, but would love to find a unit somewhere that I could be a part of.
I have full German kit, to standard, for more than one uniform period. Probably my best setup is 1943 but can do earlier.
Glad there is a place for old hare's to reach out, and hope to get going again. Otherwise I may need to find a tall young man to buy my setup!

Roger de Flor  "Templar Pirate"

In 1291, during the siege of Acre, Roger helped rescue many wealthy people. After this, he moved to Cyprus. However, he faced some problems and was accused of wrongdoing. Because of this, he left the Knights Templar. Roger then went to Genoa, borrowed money, bought a new ship, and started a new life as a pirate.

Prince Rupert of the Rhine (with his loyal war poodle, Boye)  12/27/1619 - 11/29/1682

Among his many soldierly adventures such as being the very epidemy of a cavalier as the English Civil War Royalist cavalry commander he also hunted parliamentarian shipping in the Caribbean as an exiled Royalist privateer about 1651.

Sir Kenelm Digby (11 July 1603 – 11 June 1665) was an English courtier and diplomat.  Digby became a privateer in 1627.[4] Sailing his flagship, the Eagle (later renamed Arabella),[8] he arrived off Gibraltar on 18 January and captured several Spanish and Flemish vessels.  Digby is also considered the father of the modern wine bottle. During the 1630s, Digby owned a glassworks at Newnham-on-Severn.
