I am pleased to announce that the 2nd Chevauleger has successfully attended its first battle event since 2004.

Here's a couple of pictures from the battle. An Abteilung of two Schwolies from the 2nd Chevauleger, assisted by a soldat from IR 23 helped hold the Central Powers right flank against a determined Russian attack. While Russian mortar file rained death upon the Bavarian positions, casualities were minimal but in the face of a determined infantry assault, the 2nd Chevauleger slowly gave ground and rallied in the Central Powers third line positions.
