Ya know, we have our "link mod" working? The program allows YOU to add your link yourself, unlike the old "add-me form" we had. Please, go to https://www.reenactor.net/index.php/page,167.html and add your unit's link, if we don't have it. For that matter, you can update links too. We still have many of the old links up, as it is a process to do a lot of them. However, we will be working to update links as fast as possible-- soon, ALL the unit links and historical links will be done this way!!

Book Reviews
If you're a reenactor, then it's almost a sure thing you like to read. How about helping out your fellows by posting a review? You can even set up a link to the book on amazon by hitting the Amazon button in the toolbar and then inserting the ISBN number between the brackets. :-) |

1600-1800
The Colonial Era covers the French and Indian War (usually referred to as: F&I) (Seven Year's War to Europeans), the American Revolution and the 30 Year's War. This area also includes the Pyrate Life too... arrrggghhhh! |

Frontier Period
What does "Frontier Period" mean? Well, in reality, it covers quite a lot... In fact, the Frontier Period covers so much time in history, we just HAD to make a separate area for it. Ideally, all this we have listed in this section should be in their respective time periods, F&I in the 1600-1800 Time/Area, Fur Traders/Trappers in 1800-1860, Trekking in both. However, to us, it just seems logical to put "like-stuff" with like-stuff! Moderator: Bonnie aka blnzrfn |

1800-1860
The 1800 to 1860 Time/Area... What is that exactly? Well, a lot really: the Napoleonic War, the War of 1812, the Mexican-American War and the Crimean War. Quite a lot to cover, but quite important wars, as wars go. All in all, a pretty exciting time period. |

The American Civil War
From Manassas to Appomattox, for four years, this was the most bloody war in the history of the United States. In this defining war, more men died than any in other war in our history. What started as "Damyankees" and "Johhny Rebs" ended as simply "Americans!" Moderator: tleve |

1870-1900
A long period with a lot of history and many different impressions. From Old West reenacting, to SASS competition to the Boer War and the Spanish American War, this time period is chock full of interesting things to reenact. If you do one of these, please post about it. |

WWI (The Great War)
The "War to End All Wars" -- The Great War... the reenactor's Reenactment. WWI is the most awesome of the time periods (okay, I'm biased) and it has something to offer everyone. From the historians to the poets, the arms junkies, to the militaria collector, WWI will give back at least as much as you give to it! Moderators: Sturmkatze, Oskar_2ndChev |

WWII
World War II; the last "good war." And yeah, it's reenacted. Mostly ETO (the European Theater of Operations after D-Day), but there are more and more Eastern Front events with a few Afrikakorps and Italian events being done. There are even some fledgling Pacific War events happening. It's an exciting time to be in the hobby!! You can now actually FIND repro uniforms and kit pretty easily, so why not give it a try?
