JR 226 is a group of military historians from Virginia and the Carolinas dedicated to remembering and commemorating the average professional German Army soldier of WWII. We have no affiliation with any Neo-Nazi, racist, or white supremist groups and don't want any. No potential member is welcome with these views and will be dismissed if found. We are dedicated to history!

Not every recruit is accepted for membership, as JR 226 is not for everyone. We have worked for over fourteen years to create the right personality for our unit. We are not looking for numbers, just quality.

If you are interested in walking in the shoes of average German professional soldiers more than a half a century ago in the best Deutsche Heer Infanterie unit on the East Coast, please contact us and we will send you a recruit package and start the recruiting process.

Upon selection to Rekrut status, a sponsor will be assigned to you and he, along with the unit leaders, will guide you through the processes of becoming a WWII reenactor and a participant in a truly exceptional experience in a unique hobby.
